What is Arthroscopic Bankart’s Repair?

Arthroscopic Bankart’s Repair is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to fix a torn labrum in the shoulder—specifically the Bankart lesion, a common cause of shoulder instability after dislocation. This tear occurs when the shoulder joint pops out of place and damages the cartilage rim (labrum) that keeps it stable. Using tiny incisions and a small camera (arthroscope), the torn labrum is reattached to the bone to restore shoulder strength and stability.
